SERVICE TECHNICIANS
SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Position Summary: As a Fire Line Equipment LLC employee, you play a critical role in helping to keep our customers fire apparatus in good working condition and on the road. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Fire trucks, Ambulances, Pumpers and Ladders Trucks used daily in the fire and emergency service industry. If you are mechanically inclined or have completed any vehicle repair training, are willing to learn, and interested in a growing and demanding career, you can join our team of a family culture owned and operated business.

Major Responsibilities: – Primary duties of this role consist of ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers. – Consistently using the knowledge and technologies provided at FLE to properly log, research, and complete repairs. This includes performing basic vehicle diagnostics. – Conducting Preventative Maintenance repairs, warranty work and continuously developing your skills. – Perform routine chassis, fire pump and aerial maintenance- maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in fire apparatus repair-conduct necessary repairs, perform fire pump service testing, pump and aerial preventative maintenance, chassis repairs and electrical installations. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managers or owners.

 

Qualifications: – Basic mechanical aptitude preferred, demonstrated past problem solving, tool usage, and repair experience required – 1-2 years of automotive or diesel experience or education preferred – High school diploma or equivalent required, vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred – Electrical repair and troubleshooting a plus – A valid driver’s license is required, and, must either possess a CDL or have the ability to obtain a CDL license required – A positive, customer service attitude and effective communication skills – Basic computer skills required for data entry into data systems. – Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job and Willingness to work the required schedule.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANS
FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Position Summary: This position requires you to travel to a fire department or a customer’s location. This is done by driving a company provided service truck to the location of the service work. Travel could be in 1 day, 2 day or 3 day increments. As a Fire Line Equipment LLC employee, you play a critical role in helping to keep our customers fire apparatus in good working condition and on the road. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Fire trucks, Ambulances, Pumpers and Ladders Trucks used daily in the fire and emergency service industry. If you are mechanically inclined or have completed any vehicle repair training, are willing to learn, and interested in a growing and demanding career, you can join our team of a family culture owned and operated business.

You would be responsible for maintaining your service truck to be sure it clean and stocked with parts as necessary. AMBULANCE SALES
AMBULANCE SALES POSITION
Position Summary: This position requires you to travel to current and prospective customer locations to solicit sales of ambulances and to demonstrate vehicles in an assigned territory. Customer meetings could include daytime, evening, or weekend appointments. Upon sale of a vehicle, travel to the manufacturing location could be required, usually in 3-day increments. As a Fire Line Equipment LLC employee, you play a critical role in helping our customers acquire the ambulance that meets their needs. If you are a sales professional or an EMS professional, are willing to learn, and interested in a growing and demanding career, you can join our team of a family culture owned and operated business.

Major Responsibilities: – You will work closely with prospective customers to help them purchase an ambulance that will meet their needs. Primary duties of this role include customer location visits, trade show attendance, specification development using the company supplied quoting system, and vehicle demonstrations as required. You will also be responsible for sales tracking and reporting within the FLE contact management software. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managers or owners.

 

Qualifications: – Basic sales, negotiation, and presentation skills preferred, reading, math, oral communication, written communication, technical communication, customer relations, time management, demonstrated past problem solving, basic computer skills and time management skills required – 1-2 years of sales or EMS experience or education preferred – High school diploma or equivalent required. A valid driver’s license is required –Good, clean Driving record- A positive, professional customer service attitude and effective communication skills. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job and Willingness to work the required schedule.
