1/2″ Thread Seal

Description

A 1/2″ thread seal is a type of thread sealant that is used to prevent leaks in threaded connections. It is typically made of a soft material, such as PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), that is compressed when the connection is tightened. This creates a seal that prevents fluids from leaking out of the connection.

Thread seals are available in a variety of materials, including PTFE, Teflon, and graphite. Thread seals are also available in a variety of widths. The width of the tape should be slightly wider than the threads of the connection. This will ensure that the tape is able to fill in all of the gaps between the threads and create a good seal.
