Four door enclosed HME cab with seating for 8 with 7 SCBA seats. Powered by a Detroit Diesel 430HP and Allison automatic transmission. Waterous 1750 GPM Pump with 1250 gallon water tank. Front bumper 2.5″ discharge and 6″ intake. Two 1.75″ crosslays above the pump panel and deck gun. Driver’s side pump panel has 6″ and one 2.50″ discharge. Officers side pump panel has 6″ intake and & two LDH discharges. The rear of the truck is equipped with 2.50″ discharge and LDH intake. The truck is equipped with a 10kW Hydraulic Generator along with scene lights mounted on rear of cab. The truck is equipped with NFPA warning light and siren package. Manufacturers History
HME was founded in 1913 as Hendrickson Motor Truck Company by Mangus Hendrickson. Hendrickson Motor Truck Company was purchased by The Boler Company in 1978 and later sold the truck manufacturing portion in 1985. After the Atonne Group, located in Wyoming, Michigan purchased the company in 1985, the company changed gears to specializing in the manufacture of custom fire truck cabs and chassis. HME’s fire apparatus carry the model name designations SilverFox and HME Ahrens-Fox.[1]
New Lexington Fire Equipment Company Inc. was an American fire apparatus builder located in Rockwood, Pennsylvania. New Lexington was formed in 1992 and built pumpers, tankers, rescue and a few quints on commercial and custom chassis. The company closed in June 2006.
