Fuel Sending Unit, WEBB 16

A fuel sending unit is a device that measures the amount of fuel in a vehicle’s fuel tank and sends that information to the fuel gauge on the dashboard. It is typically located inside the fuel tank and consists of a float, a resistor, and an electrical connector.

As the fuel level in the tank changes, the float moves up and down along the resistor. This changes the resistance of the circuit, which sends a different signal to the fuel gauge. The fuel gauge then displays the appropriate fuel level on the dashboard.

Is this fuel sender programmable and is there a better picture of the top of the gauge. As well does it come with the casket

That fuel sender is NOT programmable. It does come with a gasket.
