The Hale G/QHD Sliding Gear Shaft Assembly is a component in the lower drive unit of some Hale QHD pumps manufactured prior to August 1987. It consists of three parts:

  • Sliding gear
  • Sliding gear shaft
  • Tail shaft

These parts are designed to work together as a set, and they should not be mixed with parts from other Hale pumps.
