Susquehanna Valley EMS remounted Osage box on a new 2019 Ford E350 chassis.

For more than 50 years, Susquehanna Valley EMS has been delivering the highest quality of emergency and non-emergency medical care to the residents of Lancaster County. Starting as a volunteer service in 1966, and then merging with other EMS agencies, SVEMS has grown to be one of the largest EMS organizations in the county, as well as in Pennsylvania. In June 2017, we expanded our services to the residents in Hallam Borough, Hellam Township and Wrightsville Borough in York County.

Susquehanna Valley EMS is the proud recipient of the 2017 American Heart Association Gold Plus Award for measures taken to improve the treatment of patients who experience serve heart attacks and strokes. Only 1% of the EMS organizations in the United States receive this award.

SVEMS provides Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support to more than 13 municipalities in Lancaster County and to three municipalities in York County. We have five stations and an administrative headquarters conveniently located in Lancaster County, and one station located in York County. Our prompt response times, concern and dedication has helped to make us one of the premier EMS providers in the region.
