A weatherproof power input connector designed to be mounted in the side of a vehicle to permit connecting 120 Volt AC shoreline. It is specifically designed for emergency vehicles and automatically disconnects the shoreline power when the engine is cranked. This prevents broken cables and other damage that can occur when drivers forget to remove the shoreline before driving away.
The Auto Eject 15WP has a weatherproof cover that closes when the shoreline is not connected. The cover is spring-loaded to prevent water from entering. A solenoid wired to the vehicle’s starter is energized when the engine is cranked. This instantaneously drives the plug from the receptacle, disconnecting the shoreline power.
The Auto Eject 15WP is available in a variety of colors, including yellow, red, and black. It has a 2-year warranty.
